ProPhilippines.com was founded by Vincent D. Grey in 2005 with the purpose of uplifting the image of the Philippines overseas, and promoting the country as a prime tourist destination.

With the support of Department of Tourism (DOT), and Smart Communications, Mr. Grey finally launched The Smart Pinoy BalikBayani Kit in November 2006. The kit has freebies and discounts for Pinoys overseas, highlights unique destinations in the Philippines that both foreign tourists and Pinoy balikbayans will truly enjoy.

The kit's first version is a resounding success with orders pouring in from abroad. ProPhilippines will continue to improve up on the kit and launch new versions over the next year.
